What do you say that hasn’t been said about Clay and his awesome family as well as this amazing outfit except WOW. I have had the privilege to hunt all over Canada with some great outfits and amazing territory. I thought I’ve seen it all until I came to hunt here. Nothing compares to it. The amount of untouched bush, quality and quantity of bears, comfortable stands and blinds, amazing lodging and last but not least the individuals in the outfit. The instant I pulled up the driveway and got out of my truck I was welcomed like I was part of the family. Even the other hunters were welcoming me in. They all had a smile on their face and enjoying every second. That right there told me I was in for a good experience. All the outfits tend to have good lodging, good food and quantity of bears but it’s about numbers. Get as many hunters as you can through to maximize the profit. You can see that out in the bush with tons of little bears but not many quality bears. Some outfits I’ve hunted the biggest bear harvested during the week may be 200 pounds. I can tell you that you’ll see 200 pound bears at Take ‘Em on bait but the bears being harvested and coming to camp are 300 plus. One of the things that sets Take Em apart from the rest from what I already stated is the guides and Clay. They are hunters themself. In some cases that’s not a good thing as they tend to keep the big bears to themselves. However that is 100% not the case here. They get more excited to put you on a big bears then anything. They live it. They are constantly on the cameras looking for biggest bear and putting you on the best chance stand. They know these woods and bears like the back of their hand and work with you on where to put you. Where most outfits just throw you on any stand from drawing out of a hat. In my first hunt their Clay knew I was dead tired from hunting hard to the east week before every morning and night. Sitting on an old tree stand after a good bear. Im 6’6 and those stands just kick your butt. I didn’t get one but Clay was adamant to get me a big bear. My first night their sitting in the most comfortable blind I’ve ever been in enjoying all the action around me. Within two hours the biggest bear I ever seen was twenty yards in front of me with not a care in the world. Had plenty of time to set up a good shot and let the arrow fly. 20 yards away laid the biggest bear of my life. These bears don’t see people. They are so far in the bush in prime territory. My bear laying on the ground and I’m having good bears still coming through. Each one would have been biggest I’ve shot in past but small compared to what I just shot. Once I let Clay know I got him you could hear the excitement in his voice. Then Jesse calls and can hear the excitement their to. Come to find out another Hunter from the lodge was down the road at another stand just shot a beast as well. So pulling two big tanks out of the woods with some daylight to spare was an amazing experience I have already lined up deer for 2025 and spring bear 2026. I plan to hunt here every year I possibly can as I know from experience their isn’t any place better then Take-Em Outfitters’s, the guides and Clay and his awesome family. I’m excited to hunt already knowing it’s going to be an awesome experience where you feel like you’re at home. Clay, guides and other hunters have turned into friendships that I never expected. That says alot about them. It’s not about money it’s about the experience. Once you go hunt there you become part of the family long after. Again what else more can you say about my experience then Wow!!!!
